This policy covers lolacafe.in (the "website") and the in-person launch sign-up at the Lola Cafe counter in Bomikhal, Bhubaneswar. It is operated by Priyakishore Patra, trading as Lola Cafe. Registered business and tax details are being finalised and will be added here once filed; nothing on this page invents them.
The website itself is informational: Home, Menu, and Visit pages. We do not run an account system, an online order flow, or a payment page here. Loading a page pulls in Google Fonts from Google's servers, which sees your IP address and browser like any font request on the web. Standard hosting logs (IP, browser, page requested, timestamp) are kept briefly for security and uptime, not for tracking you.
We do not yet run Meta Pixel, Google Ads tracking, or any ad retargeting on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated first and a cookie/consent notice will be added before any tracking goes live.
To join the launch "free momos" offer in person, we ask for: your name, phone number, birthday, and dietary preference (veg/non-veg), plus your explicit consent to be contacted on WhatsApp or by call. This is collected on a tablet/counter form, never bundled with any other checkbox, and is never a condition of getting served food.
We use this only to: honour the launch offer, send you cafe updates on WhatsApp or by call if you said yes, and understand who is walking in. We do not sell or share this list with any third party. A Google review is never required to redeem the offer.
Launch sign-up data is kept for as long as the launch program and related cafe communication are active. You can ask us to delete your number and details at any time.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw WhatsApp/call consent at any time. Write to lolacafebbsr@gmail.com and we will act on it.
The launch sign-up is meant for adults ordering at the counter. We do not knowingly collect data from children beyond a birthday shared by a parent/guardian at the table.
We are a new cafe and this site will grow. When we add online ordering, delivery, ads, or loyalty tracking, this policy will be updated before those features go live, not after.
